Addisonia: Colored Illustrations and Popular Descriptions of Plants was a journal published by the New York Botanical Garden from 1916 to 1964. Each entry consisted of a beautiful and scientifically accurate colored plate accompanied by a species description and other background information about the plant. Of the 800 plates produced for this series, 80% of them were created by Mary Eaton.
